It's been a while since I posted some...
It's been a while since I posted some news and that's because I've been busy working on recreating Defend Your Castle from the ground up. It is now 100% Unity which allows us to bring it to even more platforms than before. In just a few days we will be releasing it for Android and Nintendo Switch and I'm really looking forward to all the DYC fans getting their hands on it.
Personally I've played through the entire game a multitude of times as I was testing it across multiple platforms and really enjoyed the experience. There's something viscerally satisfying about actually throwing an invader with your finger instead of just using a mouse cursor. I really hope that more people will be able to play the game this way after we upload it to more platforms!

Fishy was a flash classic and XGen’s most popular undersea adventure game. The objective still remains the same to become the biggest fish in the pond. Eat or be eaten! We’re so thrilled to announce that in addition to PC and Mac, The Low Road is available on Linux through Steam! Adventure Gamers stated The Low Road “just begs to be played and enjoyed” and XGen Studios wanted to give Linux users the opportunity to enjoy the game as well. This is our very first downloadable title to support Linux so we’re very excited to reach a brand new audience that may have played our flash games in the early days of XGen.

We are so excited to announce that The Low Road won Best Character Design at the Game Design Awards in Dundee UK!
When we set out to create this point and click adventure we knew that the characters would play a huge role in the players' engagement with the narrative. Their personalities came together through a combination of so many skills: the digitally painted figures, witty dialogue, stellar voice acting, and the quirky way in which they moved!

Competitive seasons for Stick Arena and Boxhead Bounty Hunter are here! Season 1 starts TODAY and will go until the end of November, with a new season starting every 3 months.
Stick Arena Dimensions and Boxhead Bounty Hunter have been two of our biggest and most played web games developed by the XGen team. It’s been amazing to see that there is a dedicated community still very interested in seeing these games thrive.
Today we did a full reset of the stats for both Boxhead Bounty Hunter and Stick Arena Dimensions. We have a fresh slate on the Season 1 High Score Table for you to climb the charts once again, but don’t worry about your old stats, we’ve saved your Legacy Scores for you to view and search.
Do you think you can chart in the top 100?? There’s plenty of prizes for you to win, so jump into the lobby and start racking up those kills and bounty points!
As a note, cheaters will be removed from the high score table without warning.
